Why your values must guide your crisis response

Your chances of mounting a successful crisis management response will be significantly increased if you have engaged in crisis management planning and crisis management training beforehand.

However, the single most important thing that you can do to protect your reputation when crisis strikes is to manage it in keeping with your corporate values.

Conversely, a response which runs counter to your values almost guarantees significant reputational harm.
