Louise has more than 20 years’ experience as a crisis communication consultant. She has worked as a director for a top 10 UK PR agency and developed crisis plans, handled issues, assessed risks and trained executives, crisis handlers and PR professionals in a range of industries.
Known for her calmness and clear thinking, Louise has helped clients as diverse as DP World, GlaxoSmithKline, the British Soft Fruit industry, Lundin Mining and Legoland understand more about their risks and be better prepared for potential crises. She has a particular ability to understand complex situations and provide clear strategic guidance.
An engaging communicator and trainer herself, Louise has enabled others to become expert spokespeople for their organisations. Her training style is motivating and engaging, as she makes an effort to understand the individual perspectives and experience of those she is coaching.
Louise also brings an understanding of psychology, decision-making and leadership to her crisis communications work. She is able to support in the identification and development of highly effective crisis teams and the key behaviours necessary for high performance crisis communications.
Outside of work, and when not supporting the varied sporting endeavours of her two sons, Louise is a keen amateur artist and has even recently bought a sewing machine for some creative textile projects. The results are yet to be seen!
