More Lessons From The Aftermath Of Boeing’s 737 Max 9 Crisis

In the latest of a series of challenges faced by Boeing, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is giving the company 90 days to come up with a plan to fix quality problems and meet safety standards for building new planes.

In addition, the justice department is reportedly reviewing whether a mid-flight plane door panel blowout in January violated a previous settlement agreement between the company and the US government.

This saga remains a sobering reminder of the long lasting impact of a mishandled crisis and underlines just how hard it is to move on from such an event.

Once in the spotlight for the wrong reasons, it is extraordinarily hard to get out of it, especially when new challenges continue to emerge.
