We wanted to give the whole internal and external Network Rail national communications team the opportunity to rehearse their roles and responsibilities following the re-design of our crisis communication plan. We needed them to experience how it feels to develop communication plans and materials under pressure in a crisis. From a standing start and against a challenging timeline, Insignia worked closely with us to develop a challenging scenario brought to life through a truly immersive simulation. The way in which Insignia constructed and delivered the exercise meant that participants quickly engaged with it as though it were real. Consequently, they all developed capability and built confidence to respond effectively in the event of a real crisis. We received very positive feedback from all of the participants. The Insignia team was a pleasure to work with: they combined expertise in crisis management with a willingness to listen to our requirements and develop an approach which exceeded our expectations.
