Jenny Payne

Jenny is responsible for developing content for crisis management training workshops, exercises and simulations. She is also the author of a quarterly analysis of high-profile crises and is part of Insignia’s exercise delivery team.

She has a background in communication and before joining Insignia was Corporate PR Manager at energy company npower, where she developed its crisis communications plan. She was responsible for exercising its communication team’s crisis response via a simulation and for maintaining npower’s crisis communications handbook and risk log.

Prior to joining npower, Jenny spent over four years working in large consultancies, where she delivered client work internationally.

Jenny speaks fluent Russian and has worked on behalf of some of Russia’s largest companies, including FTSE 250 Polymetal International and two of Russia’s largest telecoms companies, Rostelecom and MTS.

Outside of work, Jenny enjoys trying out new ways to exercise, with hula hooping being the favourite. She’s also an avid motorsports fan and can be found cheering on Lewis Hamilton once the Formula 1 season kicks off.
