Emily Tofts

Emily is responsible for developing content for crisis management workshops, exercises, and simulations. Her clients include Sky Group, Financial Times, DP World and HS2.

Formerly employed by the UK’s Civil Service, she has extensive experience of crisis management, including working with COBR. She delivered the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy’s crisis management training and exercising programme, improving readiness for incidents within the UK’s Critical National Infrastructure. She has worked across government and with COBR on national incidents affecting the energy and chemicals sectors.

As a Royal Navy Reservist, she was involved in the planning and execution of the military’s COVID-19 response as well as major domestic resilience operations. Emily brings a wealth of military and civilian crisis management experience to her clients, delivering training that is tailored to the organisation’s needs.

Outside of work Emily enjoys scuba diving, bouldering, and hiking with her partner. As a recent National Trust member, she hopes to spend her remaining free time exploring historic buildings and gardens across the UK.
